In addition to our general land protection activities in Alabama and Georgia we operate in a number of programmatic areas. Some of them really just a geographic focus, such as Southeast Georgia (preserving some of roots of the Coastal Georgia Land Trust).

Other initiatives are full-fledged partnerships such as the ACUB program, where we team with several other land protection entities as well as the U.S. Department of Defense. Still others are associations where we provide intensive staffing via contractual relationships with affiliated organizations such as the Chattahoochee Valley and Lula Lake Land Trusts.

Finally, our affiliations and outreach effort succeed when we place land in protection. Once protected there is an entire range of operations that provide the required stewardship of the protected properties.
