Abby Stone joined GALT in 2025, bringing her passion for environmental protection and sustainability to its mission of conserving land in perpetuity. She holds a B.S.E.S. in Environmental Economics and Management from the University of Georgia, along with a certificate in Environmental Ethics and a minor in Spanish. Abby later earned her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from European University Barcelona.

Her career spans corporate human resources and her family’s international business, but she also has hands-on experience in conservation through her service with AmeriCorps, where she worked on streambank restoration and water-quality testing. Outside of work, Abby enjoys traveling extensively with her family, exploring the mountains of western North Carolina, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
