The Georgia-Alabama Land Trust and the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the Appraisal Institute are partnering to present a virtual seminar that addresses current legal and valuation issues associated with appraising conservation easement property types. Subject matter experts from the various facets of the conservation easement realm will provide insight into their role in the process.

Echo Walk at Weaver Cave Preserve
Join GALT and Alabama Power biologists for an evening hike through Weaver Cave Preserve as we tune into the hidden world of bats! Using acoustic monitoring equipment, we’ll detect and identify bat species by their ultrasonic calls. This guided walk offers a chance to experience the preserve after dark and learn about our resident bat species.
Recommended for ages 6 and up. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
