Becca Taylor
Becca is a South Georgia native with a love for all animals. She graduated from Georgia Southern University with her B.S. in Biology in 2017 and then went on to receive her M.A. In Biology from Miami University, while working as a zookeeper. Her graduate work focused on analyzing the effectiveness of different conservation strategies for a variety of threatened and endangered animal species. She found that habitat protection was often the most effective conservation strategy for many species, which is why she loves her job at GALT so much! Prior to joining GALT, Becca worked for the Georgia Department of Agriculture. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and German Shepard, concerts, craft beer, traveling, and almost any activity outdoors. Her favorite place is the beach.
