Mercedes Martin is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She works with the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust’s wildlife habitat project in southeast Georgia. She brings twenty years of administrative/executive experience, having worked with the government in various capacities. In her free time, she volunteers as a mentor for disadvantaged young women.
