Office: (256)447-1006
Sarah was born and raised in central Florida near Orlando. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Sustainability Studies. After graduation, she worked as Assistant Director of Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, a nonprofit cemetery that combines natural burial practices with land conservation. Her time there deepened her passion for community engagement and connecting people with the natural world. She later moved to Northern Virginia working with Willowsford Conservancy, where she coordinated volunteers, planned events, and managed environmental education programs within the “agrihood” community of Willowsford.
Sarah began working with GALT in 2026 and now resides in Chattanooga, TN. In her free time she can be found engaging in the natural world through birdwatching, hiking, and a good swimming hole. At home she enjoys gardening, baking, watching soccer, and spending time with her two cats, Dudley and Juno.
